Welcome to my website!

Margo-Arts-150Ergotherapy comes from the Greek word "ergein", which means "to do", "to act", "to work". Ergotherapy assumes the capability of action is a fundamental human need and that action implemented in a targeted way has a therapeutic effect. Consequently, the underlying philosophy of ergotherapy is based on an holistic image of humanity.

The objective of ergotherapy is to achieve, improve or maintain the highest possible level of independence in everyday actions, such as personal hygiene, eating, movement, communication, housework, school, work, and leisure time.

Activities from daily life, self-help training, housework training, functional therapy (targeted improvement and maintenance of motor, sensory and neuropsychological functions) and creative art are the methods used in ergotherapy.

Ergotherapy is a therapy prescribed by a doctor and is covered by medical or accident insurance (basic insurance).

I offer my treatment in my practice or, if necessary, at your home or in a medical institution.
